Randy Wiersma

Randy has worked in the college store industry since 1980.  His first five years were spent with Follett Corporation, where he served as bookstore manager at Ohio University and Manager/District Manager at Northwestern University.  As one of its founders, Randy joined College Bookstores of America in 1984 as Vice President.  In 1991, he was named Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

In May 2006, Nebraska Book Company acquired College Bookstores of America.  Randy remained as Senior Vice President until April 1, 2007 when he moved to a part time position as Senior Vice President, Campus Relations in order to pursue his ministry and mission interests.

Randy is married and has one daughter who is married and living in Wilmington working as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.  He enjoys travel, hiking, and sports.  He is a member of Apex United Methodist Church.

Randy is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, North Park Theological Seminary, and the Executive MBA Program of the University of Chicago.
