Kara DeBruyn

Kara grew up in Michigan, the second oldest in a family of five kids. She grew up in family that loved Jesus and was blessed to have many people disciple her over the years. During college, she was involved in inner-city ministry and God began to give her more of his heart for the poor. In 2002, Kara went on a four month trip to India and Nepal. Her heart was moved by the people she met and broken for the suffering she saw. In 2003, she returned to Kathmandu, Nepal to work amongst those struggling with drug addiction and served there until 2009. After some time in the States, Kara decided to return to Nepal to serve with Tiny Hands International.
