Living Home

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
House parents: Man Bahadur and Buddha Kamari
Year opened: 2008
Target group: Orphaned or abandoned children
Living Home began in 2008 in Kathmandu. The house parents, Man Bahadur and Buddha Kamari came forward as ones called to this ministry, and look after the children as their own.
Most of the children entered the home with minimal education. The Children now attend a local Christian English medium school where they are quickly brought up to speed. They are also exposed to music, arts, and crafts at home and regularly join in worship together.
Tiny Hands is committed to developing the children in Living Home and all the homes into leaders of their generation and believes that this begins with the knowledge of their creator and a commitment to God’s ways. We also believe that child development is crucial and all the house parents are trained in ways to develop the creativity, intellect, and wonder of their children.
