Holy Home

Location: Pokhara, Nepal
House parents: Mithun and Nisha
Year opened: 2006
Target group: Orphaned or abandoned children

Holy Home is located in Pokhara, Nepal, about 120 km from the capital.  Holy Home is home to orphaned or high-need children. It provides an atmosphere of love and joy to kids who have known difficulty and despair.  This home is parented by Mithun and Nisha, who had felt God's calling in their life for some time before being asked by Tiny Hands to consider joining Tiny Hands as house parents.

The children all attend a local school where they learn English and Nepali.  They are also involved in their local church where they learn of God’s truth and great love for them.

Like all Tiny Hands' homes, the children of Holy Home will remain a part of this family until they finish secondary school and are prepared for life outside the home.  As a family, the children gather each night to sing, dance, pray, and talk together.  It is a wonderful atmosphere that exemplifies the type of family environment we strive for in each home.
