Beloved Home is another wonderful Tiny Hands home in Nepal. This home is located in the beautiful city of Pokhara, which is located about 120 km west of the capital city of Kathmandu. The home’s parents, Jeevan and Kanala, were former Campus Crusade for Christ staff members in Nepal and bring wonderful ministering hearts to the home. As is the case with all Tiny Hand’s homes, the parents are the most critical component to the home’s success.
Beloved Home is unique in that it was birthed through the efforts of a group of college students from Azusa Pacific University in California. Having spent a number of weeks during their summer break in Nepal they made contact with Tiny Hands President, John Molineux, in Kathmandu. Through their time in Nepal and their association with John they fell in love with the children they met in our children’s homes. From those experiences he quickly decided to help start a new home for Tiny Hands. They committed to raise the start up expenses for the home, as well as, finding sponsors for the first 10 children of the home. In addition, they were able to help identify the parents of the home; research the best school in the area for the children to attend and even selected the home’s name.
Beloved Home is now home to several darling children who attend a local school where they learn English and Nepali. They are also involved in their local church where they learn of God’s truth and great love for them. This home will also become a part of the Dream Center development.
